About Us
South Coast Funeral Support was established in January 2024 by Henry George King.
Henry was introduced into the funeral industry at the age of 16 by his late father, David. David offered a casual pallbearer service to independent and corporate funeral directors across Sussex, covering crematoria, churches and cemeteries between Chichester and Brighton.
After Henry opened his own funeral company in September 2017, H G King Funeral Services in Lancing, West Sussex, David continued to supply casual pallbearers and assist with the removals.
Unfortunately, David unexpectedly passed away in January 2021 and Henry took responsibility of organising pallbearers across the county.
Since then, Henry has grown the pallbearer team to 50+ strong, extending the area from Southampton to Hastings, up to Tunbridge Wells, Redhill, Leatherhead and Guildford. He has also introduced removals, conductors, coffins, mortuary facilities and engraved nameplates to the service.

Pallbearers
We have a 50+ strong team of casual pallbearers covering 16 Crematoria and all Churches and Cemeteries between Southampton to Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Crawley, Leatherhead and Guildford.
Removals
The transfer of deceased from hospitals, hospices, care homes and private addresses using our dignified Mercedes Estate. We also cover long-distance removals throughout the UK & Ireland.
Conductors
Experienced funeral directors to conduct funerals. Liaising with your client prior to the funeral and providing support on the day.
Coffins
A choice of foil or oak veneer coffins in sizes 5'8" x 18" - 6'4" x 24".
Engraved Nameplates
Machine engraved onto EB and NP nameplates in sizes 4x2, 6x4 and 8x6. Includes first-class post direct to your funeral home.
Mortuary Facility
The use of our embalming suite and cold room for overnight care.
